HIGH-QUALITY, HANDMADE KNIVES

use what you have

I made my first chefs knife over the Christmas break of 2017, pictured on the left, with nothing but an angle grinder, a hand file and 40 pounds of sandpaper. The work was grueling and I loved it.

After realizing how passionate I was about knifemaking, the next step in my journey, like most amateur knifemakers, was purchasing a 1x30 bench grinder. It was capable enough to get my feet wet but I rapidly outgrew it. I now have a proper 2x72 grinder, many more tools and supplies and even more on my wishlist.

My goal with DIVIDE KNIVES is to hone my skills and create beautiful and functional knives that, if cared for, will last a lifetime.
